About us
VoiceArena is the independent place where the world’s leading AI labs evaluate how their voice models actually perform. We’ve been deliberately quiet for the last year and just built. The platform has earned the right to be in front of the people who decide what voice models get shipped; we are now hiring the person who will put it there.
What this role is
You will own how VoiceArena shows up in the world. The leaderboards, the labs on them, the conversations around them, the conferences where the audience lives, and the academic partnerships that give the platform credibility.
The work is to make VoiceArena the default reference that researchers, applied scientists, and product leads at frontier voice AI labs turn to. You will work directly with the CEO. You will have founder-adjacent scope and authority from day one, and you will be expected to act on it.
What you will own
1. Coverage
The set of model labs whose work shows up on VoiceArena. You will own who is on the leaderboards, how they got there, and how the list grows over time. Your performance will be measured on whether the labs whose presence matters are present and on whether their teams know we exist before we have to introduce ourselves.
2. The stakeholders
A short, named list of researchers, applied scientists, and product leads at the labs that matter. You will know them by name, what they’re working on, and what they care about. When a leaderboard updates, when a new evaluation drops, when a paper of theirs lands, you are the one in the conversation on X, on LinkedIn, in DMs, in Slack, and in person at conferences.
3. Academic and enterprise partnerships
The benchmarks that give VoiceArena credibility do not come from us alone. You will own partnerships with academic groups and enterprises that co-build benchmarks with us identifying the right labs, structuring the collaboration, getting their work onto the platform, and giving them the credit and the surface they deserve.
4. Launches and stakeholder communication
Every time we ship a new leaderboard, a new evaluation, or a major update, you own how the affected stakeholders find out before the rest of the world does, and in a way that makes them want to engage rather than just respond. You write the messages, you make the calls, and you keep the relationship warm between launches.
5. The public surface
Beyond the major releases, VoiceArena has to be present in the everyday conversation of the field — on X, on LinkedIn, and in the niches our audience actually lives in. You will own the cadence of that presence and the voice it carries. You hold the bar for everything that goes out under the VoiceArena name.
6. Conferences
You decide which conferences VoiceArena shows up at, what we do there, and how the audience experiences us. Booths, side events, paper-reading nights, dinners, sponsorships the choices are yours, and the execution is yours. The on-floor sales motion is not your job; the brand-side execution and the relationship-building absolutely are.
Who we’re looking for
• 5–10 years in GTM, business development, partnerships, founder’s office, or community roles at a technical company. AI / ML, dev tools, developer platforms, research-adjacent products, or open-source communities all fit naturally.
• You have personally built relationships with technical people researchers, engineers, applied scientists and earned their trust. Not “managed” them through a CRM; actually known them.
• You write well. Not “marketing well” actually well. The audience we’re targeting can smell a marketer at fifty paces.
• You move fast and finish things. The role has many surfaces; the person who succeeds in it will close loops faster than they open new ones.
• You like to work all the time. If you are not sleeping you like to be working.
• You are happy being a founder-adjacent operator with broad scope and no template for how the role should run.
• You think in relationships and act in operating cadence. Both are non-negotiable.
