About the Role:
- Our client is seeking a Business Consultant to support the PayPlan team within Personal Lending.

- The successful candidate will play a critical role in operational support, production issue management, supplier coordination, risk and control activities, and user acceptance testing as the platform continues to scale.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and triage incoming production support tickets from merchants, customers, and internal stakeholders
- Investigate operational issues, prioritize incidents based on severity and business impact, and coordinate resolution activities
- Support supplier management activities including operational administration, documentation, and ongoing coordination
- Review and analyze exception files, identify issues, and escalate concerns when required
- Execute and maintain COB (Close of Business) controls and compliance procedures
- Perform virtual card general ledger reconciliations ensuring accuracy and timely completion
- Support virtual card operational processes and ad hoc operational activities
- Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for platform enhancements and merchant onboarding initiatives
- Document test cases, test results, defects, and recommendations
- Assist with process improvements and operational scaling initiatives
- Collaborate closely with product, fraud, credit strategy, operations, and merchant-facing teams
- Ensure adherence to risk, compliance, and operational control requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience providing operational support within a business, financial services, fintech, or technology environment
- Experience managing and triaging production support tickets or operational incidents
- Experience handling customer issues, complaints, or escalations
- Experience working with suppliers, vendors, or third-party partners
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Proficiency with Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and evolving environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Financial services or fintech industry experience
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT) experience
- Experience supporting lending, payments, financing, or digital financial products
- Experience with Jira, ServiceNow, Zendesk, or similar ticket management systems
- Experience with reconciliations, controls, risk, or operational compliance processes
- French language skills
