About the opportunity We are hiring a Chief Financial Officer for a mid-sized diversified business house based in NCR, with a strong revenue footprint across multiple business verticals including manufacturing. This is an interesting opportunity for a senior finance leader to work directly with the promoters, shaping the group's strategic and financial direction from the very top.
Key responsibilities
Strategic finance & business partnering
- Serve as the primary finance partner to the promoters across all group entities
- Influence key business decisions through financial insight, scenario planning, and strategic counsel
- Evaluate new business opportunities and support expansion into adjacent verticals
Capital allocation & fund management
- Oversee capital allocation across group entities to optimise returns
- Manage fund flow, liquidity, and cash management at a group level
- Lead capex planning and financial structuring for the manufacturing business
M&A & new business evaluation
- Identify, evaluate, and execute M&A opportunities aligned with group strategy
- Lead financial due diligence, deal structuring, and post-merger integration planning
Financial governance & controls
- Ensure robust financial governance standards across entities
- Oversee group-level reporting, compliance, and audit — controllership will be limited in scope
Ideal candidate
- Chartered Accountant (CA) with 20 years+ of post-qualification experience
- Demonstrated experience working closely with promoters or business-owning families
- Strong track record in capital allocation, M&A evaluation, and strategic finance
- Comfortable operating in a lean, entrepreneurial, promoter-led environment
- Based in or willing to relocate to Delhi NCR
