CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
Position Summary
We are looking for a professional who will play a critical role in ensuring the financial health and operational excellence of the organization by managing both financial activities and IT operations effectively. You will be responsible for the strategy and performance of the department, leading and inspiring a diverse team to deliver excellence. This role reports to the Head of Americas for Thélios USA and functionally reports to the Chief Financial Officer for Thélios HQ.
Job Responsibilities
Finance
- Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure efficient financial operations
- Direct and coordinate the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to provide accurate financial insights to senior management.
- Provide insightful and actionable recommendations to General Manager and stakeholders on both short-term and long-term growth plans.
- Monitor financial performance, analyze variances, and identify areas for improvement to optimize profitability and efficiency.
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and financial risk to maintain financial stability and support business growth.
- Oversee accounting activities, including financial transactions, reconciliations, and audits, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls.
- Provide financial guidance and support to other departments to facilitate informed decision-making and achieve strategic objectives.
IT
- Ensure regulatory compliance and information systems security.
- Oversee major IT projects, ensuring their alignment with business strategies.
- Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure compliance with deadlines, costs and quality.
- Drive the integration of new technologies and systems into the existing environment.
- Participate in the development of the IT budget and monitor its execution.
Leadership & Team Management
- Build and lead a high-performing finance and operations team through effective recruitment, development, and performance management.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and collaboration across teams.
- Serve as a strategic partner to the General Manager and other senior leaders, providing insights and recommendations to drive business growth and efficiency.
- Participate in regional meetings and contribute to the development of broader strategic initiatives.
Profile
Master’s Degree or equivalent experience in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field. Proven track record of
10 years+ of relevant financial experience with 3 years+ in a leadership role.
- Strong business acumen and outstanding interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills; both verbal and written.
- Ability to influence and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams, drive change, and foster a collaborative work environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to optimize operations.
- Genuine passion and advocate of diversity and inclusion and integrates this mentality when making all business decisions (both internal & external).
Additional Information
The hiring range for this position ranges from $225,000 - $250,000. The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon candidates’ relevant skills and experience. In addition to the base salary, there are opportunities to earn additional performance-based incentives, offering significant additional earning potential.
