Position Overview
The Senior Recordkeeping Operations Analyst supports project-based initiatives across training, technology, and operational controls, focusing on continuous improvement and process efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Analyze system changes and defect fixes from CIBC Mellon’s technology vendor; develop and execute targeted test plans to validate system functionality.
- Coordinate User Acceptance Testing for system changes and projects, ensuring all business units and subject matter experts are informed and engaged
- Serve as an escalation point for UAT issues within Recordkeeping
- Collaborate with Recordkeeping leaders to assess and address impacts to policies and procedures, implementing necessary adjustments.
- Actively engage in project working groups to drive workflow and procedural enhancements.
- Support the onboarding process for new business conversions by identifying and developing learning and development requirements.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for both existing and new processes.
- Proactively monitor and ensure team members have access to current training and reference materials, updating resources as needed.
- Initiate and implement process improvement projects to enhance efficiency and strengthen operational controls within Recordkeeping.
- Define and document business requirements, and analyze workflows for business initiatives.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, tracking and resolving issues throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Post secondary education or equivalent work experience with a focus on business, finance or accounting
- 3-5 years of progressive experience
- Completion of Canadian Securities or IFIC Operations Course an asset
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to track and prioritize multiple deadlines
- Project management experience is an asset
- UAT testing experience is an asset

Job Specific Competencies
- The salary band for this position ranges between $70,000 - $110,000.
- Individual pay is determined by factors such as job-related skills, market conditions, relevant experience, education, training, and internal equity.
