Lindahl Group is a growing manufacturer and installer of custom aluminum and glass railing systems serving residential and commercial projects throughout British Columbia. Over the years, we've built our reputation on quality workmanship, strong customer relationships, and a team that takes pride in doing things the right way.
As we continue to grow, we're looking for a Chief Financial Officer who can bring strong financial leadership, practical business experience, and a hands-on approach to supporting the company's long-term success.
The Opportunity
This is more than a traditional finance role. We are looking for someone who wants to be part of the leadership team and contribute to the overall direction of the business.
The CFO will oversee all financial activities of the company while working closely with ownership and department leaders to improve profitability, strengthen financial controls, support strategic decision-making, and help guide future growth.
The ideal candidate is comfortable moving between high-level strategy and day-to-day financial operations.
What You'll Be Responsible For
- Providing financial leadership and guidance to the ownership and management team.
- Overseeing accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
- Developing and maintaining financial controls, policies, and approval processes.
- Preparing monthly and annual financial statements and performance reports.
- Monitoring company profitability, project margins, operating costs, and key financial metrics.
- Managing banking relationships, financing arrangements, insurance programs, and external advisors.
- Supporting business planning, growth initiatives, and capital investment decisions.
- Working with operations and procurement teams to improve cost management and financial visibility across the organization.
- Ensuring compliance with tax regulations, payroll requirements, audits, and reporting obligations.
- Leading and mentoring the accounting and finance team while improving systems and processes where needed.
- Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, strengthen controls, and support long-term profitability.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 10 years of progressive finance and accounting experience.
- Previous experience in a senior financial leadership role.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing, construction, project-based, or trade-related businesses.
- Experience managing cash flow, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Strong business judgment and the ability to provide practical recommendations.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- A collaborative and hands-on approach to problem solving.
