About the Role
We are seeking a commercially driven, growth-minded Strategic Payments Partnerships Manager (GTM) to build and scale KPay’s payments ecosystem across APAC.
You will own key partnerships end-to-end across banks, PSPs, card schemes, fintechs, and infrastructure providers, helping expand KPay’s payment capabilities, distribution channels, and regional footprint. You will work closely with senior leaders and C-level stakeholders, both internally and externally, on high-impact strategic initiatives.
What You'll Do
Strategic Partnerships
- Identify and map high-impact partnership opportunities across banks, PSPs, card schemes, fintechs, and infrastructure providers aligned to KPay’s APAC strategy
- Lead end-to-end deal cycles including sourcing, pitching, negotiation, and contract execution
- Structure commercial partnership models (e.g. revenue share, integration partnerships) to drive scalable outcomes
Commercial Strategy & Growth
- Analyse payments and fintech market trends to identify growth opportunities and gaps
- Develop business cases and recommendations for new products, partnerships, and GTM initiatives
- Support regional expansion and new payment capability development
- Secure and optimise partner commercial value (e.g. incentives, co-marketing funds, revenue arrangements)
- Track and improve partnership performance to drive revenue and market penetration
Relationship Management & Ecosystem Growth
- Own key strategic partner relationships across financial institutions and ecosystem partners
- Conduct business reviews and drive joint growth planning and performance optimisation
- Identify upsell, cross-sell, and expansion opportunities within existing partnerships
- Execute joint GTM initiatives to drive merchant acquisition and product adoption
Cross-Functional Execution
- Act as the internal voice of partners, translating feedback into product and operational improvements
- Partner with Product, Engineering, Risk, Compliance, Sales, and Marketing to deliver initiatives
- Lead execution of payment product launches and partner integrations end-to-end
- Ensure compliance and regulatory requirements are met in partnership structures and onboarding
What We're Looking For
- 2–4 years’ experience in partnerships, business development, GTM, enterprise sales, fintech, banking, consulting, or payments
- Strong track record in managing commercial relationships or closing complex deals
- Understanding of payments ecosystems, financial institutions, or fintech infrastructure
- Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and analytical skills
- Ability to work across functions in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable engaging senior stakeholders and C-level executives
- High ownership, curiosity, and a growth mindset.
