The Opportunity
Reporting directly to the CEO and working closely with the Private Equity investors, the CFO will lead all aspects of the finance function while playing a key strategic role across the wider business.
This is far more than a traditional finance position. The successful individual will become one of the principal architects of the company's next phase of growth, helping shape commercial strategy, support acquisitions, strengthen international operations and prepare the business for future value creation events.
Initially, the role will require approximately 30-50% international travel, supporting global integration projects, leadership teams and operational initiatives across multiple territories.
This level of travel is expected to reduce as the integration programme matures.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the CEO and Executive Leadership Team to deliver strategic growth objectives.
- Lead all financial planning, analysis, forecasting and performance management.
- Build strong relationships with the Board, lenders and Private Equity investors.
- Drive commercial decision making through high-quality financial insight.
- Lead international integration programmes across multiple markets.
- Support acquisition activity including due diligence, integration and synergy delivery.
- Develop scalable financial systems, reporting and governance.
- Lead treasury, cash management and funding strategy.
- Build and develop a high-performing international finance team.
- Ensure robust financial controls and risk management.
- Help prepare the business for future exit opportunities.
The Person
We are looking for an exceptional commercial finance leader who combines strategic thinking with operational excellence.
You will possess:
- Proven experience as a CFO, Finance Director or Divisional CFO within a Consumer business.
- A strong background within a Consumer-facing organisation is essential.
- Experience working in a Private Equity-backed environment or a business that has undergone significant transformation.
- Strong international exposure with experience operating across multiple countries.
- Outstanding commercial acumen and the ability to influence executive stakeholders.
- Experience leading organisational growth, change and integration programmes.
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire high-performing teams.
- A hands-on approach alongside strategic capability.
- Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
