Are you a strategic finance leader with a proven track record in the Quick Service Restaurant industry? We're looking for an experienced Chief Financial Officer to join our executive team and help drive the financial performance and long term growth of a multi unit restaurant organization.
This role is ideal for a hands on executive who can balance strategy with execution, lead financial operations, and partner closely with senior leadership to make data driven business decisions.
What You'll Do
- Lead all aspects of the company's financial strategy, planning, forecasting, and reporting
- Oversee budgeting, cash flow management, treasury, banking relationships, and financial controls
- Provide financial insights that improve profitability and operational performance across multiple restaurant locations
- Develop and monitor KPIs related to sales, labor, food costs, EBITDA, and overall business performance
- Partner with operations leadership to identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue growth
- Lead annual budgeting, long range planning, and financial modeling for expansion initiatives
- Ensure compliance with all accounting standards, tax requirements, audits, and regulatory obligations
- Build, mentor, and develop a high performing finance and accounting team
- Present financial results and strategic recommendations to ownership and executive leadership
What We're Looking For
- Current or recent CFO, VP of Finance, or senior finance executive experience within the Quick Service Restaurant industry is required
- Demonstrated tenure and career stability. Candidates with a consistent employment history will be given strong preference
- Experience leading finance for a multi unit restaurant organization with significant annual revenue
- Strong understanding of restaurant financial drivers including labor, food cost, margins, unit economics, and operational KPIs
- Experience supporting growth, acquisitions, franchised or corporate restaurant operations, or large scale expansion initiatives
- Strong background in financial planning and analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and cash flow management
- Proven ability to influence executive decision making through financial analysis and strategic planning
- Experience leading accounting, finance, treasury, and compliance functions
- CPA, MBA, or other advanced financial credentials are a plus
Preferred Background
- Quick Service Restaurant experience is mandatory
- Experience supporting organizations with multiple restaurant locations
- Franchise and corporate restaurant finance experience is highly preferred
- History of improving profitability through operational and financial initiatives
- Strong executive presence with the ability to partner across all levels of the organization
