For our client, we are seeking a Chief Financial Officer to join the team of a leader in the Education, Government & Non-Profit space. This role will lead continuous improvement work focused on process discipline, productivity, and measurable operating gains. You will partner with operational leaders and project stakeholders to standardize workflows, identify bottlenecks, and improve execution quality. The position offers the opportunity to create measurable efficiency gains and scalable operational improvements within a mission-driven environment.
Location: Miami, FL - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $300,000 – $350,000 annually
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with CEO and leadership to execute a mission-driven financial strategy
- Innovate and modernize financial systems and processes
- Lead financial modeling to guide strategic decisions
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and transparency
- Manage annual budgeting and forecasting alongside cross-functional leaders
- Monitor financial trends and provide actionable insights
- Streamline and enhance current financial operations and systems
Qualifications
- MBA, CPA, or equivalent experience preferred
- 12+ years of progressive financial leadership
- Experience in complex or growing organizations
- Proven track record in financial transformation
- Familiarity with blended revenue models and diverse funding streams
- Strong understanding of data, technology, and analytics applicability
