About the Opportunity
Our client is a highly fast-paced and fast-growing technology firm entering an exciting new phase of its business growth and transformation.
As the firm continues to scale internationally, it is evolving beyond a traditional product-centric model towards a more integrated ecosystem that combines technology, digital services and recurring revenue streams. This creates an exceptional opportunity for a commercially minded Head of Finance to shape both the financial strategy and operating model of the business.
This is not a traditional finance stewardship role. You will work closely with the Global CEO and Board as well as its Senior Leadership Team to build the financial architecture that supports sustainable growth, better commercial decision-making and long-term enterprise value creation.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a key strategic business partner to the Global CEO as well as its key stakeholders, translating business vision into scalable financial strategies.
- Lead the global finance function across financial control, FP&A, treasury, tax, compliance and governance amongst others.
- Drive finance transformation initiatives, including systems optimisation, process improvement and automation.
- Develop financial models that support recurring revenue, customer profitability and long-term value creation.
- Partner closely with Product, Services, Commercial, Sales and Operations leaders on pricing strategies, investment decisions and business performance.
- Improve forecasting accuracy, scenario planning and capital allocation to support strategic growth.
- Strengthen management reporting by creating meaningful commercial insights and performance metrics.
- Build a scalable finance organisation capable of supporting continued international expansion.
- Champion the adoption of technology and AI-enabled solutions to improve finance processes and decision-making.
- Lead organisational change while developing a high-performing global finance team.
What We're Looking For
We are seeking an experienced finance leader who combines strong technical credibility with commercial acumen and transformation experience.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Exceptional CFO leadership experience.
- Experience supporting organisations through significant business transformation, particularly involving recurring revenue or digital business models.
- Strong commercial finance capabilities, including pricing, profitability analysis, business partnering and investment evaluation.
- Demonstrated experience leading ERP, finance systems or finance transformation initiatives.
- Familiarity with automation, digital transformation or AI-enabled finance initiatives.
- Ability to operate strategically while remaining hands-on when required.
- Experience partnering closely with Global CEOs, Board or entrepreneurial leadership teams.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the confidence to challenge constructively and influence executive decision-making.
- Experience partnering with stakeholders across different geographies and time zones in a multinational business environment. Exposure to Asia Pacific, Europe and North American business operations would put you in a highly advantageous position.
- Excellent communication, leadership and change management capabilities.
