Most CFO opportunities ask you to maintain what is already there.
This one gives you the opportunity to shape what comes next.
A highly successful specialty contractor is entering a significant period of investment, expansion, and acquisition-led growth. The company is looking for a commercially minded Chief Financial Officer who can strengthen its financial platform, influence business-wide decisions, and work directly with the President to help take the organization to its next level.
You will not be restricted to reporting numbers from behind a desk. You will have a genuine voice in how the company grows, where it invests, and how future acquisitions are evaluated and integrated.
What Makes This Opportunity Different?
- Direct access to leadership: Work closely with the President and play an important role in major business decisions.
- A genuine seat at the table: Influence company strategy, investment, operations, and future acquisitions.
- Visible impact: Build financial systems and controls that will support the company’s growth for years to come.
- Growth without instability: Join an established and successful contractor with the resources and ambition to expand.
- Broader executive exposure: Contribute across finance, operations, HR, and organizational development.
Your Impact
As CFO, you will take ownership of the company’s financial strategy while becoming a trusted partner to executive and operational leadership.
You will:
- Lead all finance and accounting functions
- Improve financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and cash-flow visibility
- Strengthen internal controls and monthly closing processes
- Translate financial information into clear commercial recommendations
- Help leadership identify risks, opportunities, and areas for improved profitability
- Support the evaluation, due diligence, and integration of future acquisitions
- Build scalable financial processes capable of supporting continued expansion
- Partner with operational and departmental leaders across the organization
- Develop the finance team and create a high-performing financial function
- Help the company capture greater market share and pursue larger opportunities
