The Role
Strategic CFO to partner with the CEO while building the financial infrastructure to scale. Lead financial planning, budgeting, and debt financing while managing a Controller. Establish processes, report to PE firm and bank, and position the company for exit.
What You'll Do
- Partner with CEO on strategy, acquisitions, and growth initiatives
- Lead budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis across all departments
- Present quarterly financials to the Board and prepare for future sale
- Ensure GAAP compliance, manage internal controls, and oversee day-to-day accounting
- Monitor debt covenants, maintain lender relationships, and prepare compliance reports
- Evaluate acquisitions and lead integration when deals close
- Drive process improvements and technology implementation
What You Need
Required:
- Bachelor's degree; 10+ years progressing to CFO level
- Experience at a service company with revenues in the $50M-$250M range
- Strategic partner to CEO with cost-conscious mindset
- Strong Excel and communication skills
Preferred:
- Master's/CPA, sell-side experience, IT knowledge
- Experience working for a PE backed company
