Role Description The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a full-time, remote role responsible for overseeing all financial strategy and operations for We Financial Holding Company and its portfolio investments. The CFO will lead financial planning and budgeting, manage cash flow and capital allocation, and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to leadership and stakeholders. Day-to-day duties include reviewing financial statements, conducting financial and risk analysis, developing forecasts, and advising on investment decisions and portfolio performance. The CFO will also design and maintain internal controls, ensure compliance with relevant regulations, optimize financial processes, and collaborate with executive leadership on long-term growth and value-creation strategies.
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in Finance and Financial Planning, with experience leading budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial strategy.
- Advanced skills in Financial Statements and Financial Reporting, including preparing, reviewing, and presenting reports to executive leadership and investors.
- Demonstrated Analytical Skills, with the ability to interpret complex data, assess risk, and provide clear recommendations to support decision-making.
- Proven experience in senior financial leadership roles, preferably as CFO or equivalent in investment, private equity, or venture capital environments.
- In-depth knowledge of financial regulations, compliance standards, and best practices in corporate governance.
- Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and ability to partner with cross-functional and executive teams in a remote setting.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA) or professional certification (CPA, CFA) is highly beneficial.
