Co-Founder & Chief Revenue Officer
Stealth AI Growth Platform | San Francisco Bay Area / Hybrid
We are building an AI-native platform that helps companies identify the right markets and accounts, launch personalized customer-acquisition programs, convert demand into qualified opportunities, and continuously improve based on results.
The founding team currently brings deep experience in AI, product development, enterprise software, product marketing, growth strategy, and company building. We are looking for a commercially aggressive, hands-on sales co-founder who can turn early product capability and market insight into repeatable revenue.
This is not a role for someone who wants to manage a future sales team from a distance. We need a founder who enjoys opening doors, running discovery, building trust, asking for the business, negotiating terms, and closing customers personally.
What you will own
As Co-Founder and Chief Revenue Officer, you will own the company’s direct path from prospect to revenue, including:
- Building and personally executing the initial sales motion
- Identifying, contacting, qualifying, and closing design partners and paying customers
- Turning founder networks, outbound campaigns, partnerships, and market signals into pipeline
- Running high-quality discovery conversations and translating customer feedback into clear commercial and product priorities
- Developing repeatable vertical sales plays, qualification criteria, scripts, proposals, and closing processes
- Establishing pricing, packaging, pilots, contracts, and expansion motions with the other founders
- Building credibility with senior buyers, including founders, CEOs, revenue leaders, operators, and functional executives
- Developing channel, referral, agency, technology, and strategic partnerships
- Creating disciplined forecasting, pipeline management, account planning, and revenue reporting
- Hiring and leading the early sales organization once the motion is proven
- Representing the company with customers, partners, investors, and industry communities
What success looks like
During the first 90 days, you would be expected to:
- Conduct at least 30–50 high-quality customer and buyer conversations
- Help validate the company’s highest-potential market wedge
- Secure a focused group of design partners and paid pilots
- Build a qualified pipeline with clear next steps and economic buyers
- Develop the first repeatable sales narrative, qualification framework, and pilot offer
- Establish clear feedback loops between sales, product, marketing, and engineering
- Produce evidence about willingness to pay, sales-cycle length, objections, adoption barriers, and retention potential
Over the following six to twelve months, success would mean establishing a repeatable path to meaningful recurring revenue and building the foundation for a scalable commercial organization.
The person we are seeking
You may have been a founder, CRO, VP Sales, Head of Revenue, enterprise account executive, partnerships leader, or highly entrepreneurial sales leader.
The strongest candidates will have:
- A demonstrated ability to personally source and close B2B customers
- Experience selling complex software, AI, technology-enabled services, or business transformation
- Confidence selling to founders and senior executives
- Strong discovery, negotiation, storytelling, and closing skills
- A history of creating pipeline without relying entirely on an established brand or inbound engine
- The ability to move between strategic thinking and detailed execution
- Comfort operating with limited resources, incomplete information, and rapidly changing priorities
- Strong commercial judgment around pricing, pilots, contracts, partnerships, and customer expansion
- Enough technical fluency to sell an AI-enabled platform credibly
- High integrity, direct communication, urgency, resilience, and low ego
Experience selling into one or more of the following would be particularly relevant:
- International companies entering the United States
- Industrial manufacturers and specialized suppliers
- Healthcare technology and services vendors
- Commercial facilities and property-services companies
- Cybersecurity, compliance, and risk organizations
- Founder-led mid-market businesses
What this role is not
This is not:
- A conventional salaried VP Sales position
- A sales-advisory role
- A role focused primarily on managing other sellers
- A position where marketing is expected to deliver finished opportunities
- A short-term consulting engagement
- A title offered in exchange for occasional introductions
The successful candidate will be expected to build, sell, learn, and lead alongside the other founders.
Founder responsibilities
As a co-founder, you will also participate in:
- Company and category strategy
- Market and vertical selection
- Fundraising and investor conversations
- Recruiting and company culture
- Major pricing, product, partnership, and capital decisions
- Establishing clear, durable founder governance
We expect open debate, direct feedback, transparent decision-making, and the ability to disagree and then commit.
Team structure
The intended division of responsibilities is:
- Technical/product founder: engineering, architecture, AI capabilities, and technical execution
- Revenue co-founder: direct sales, partnerships, pipeline, closing, and revenue operations
- Marketing/GTM founder: positioning, market strategy, demand creation, content, and category development
The functions will collaborate closely, but each founder must have clear accountability and decision authority.
Compensation and ownership
This is a true founder-level opportunity with meaningful founder equity subject to standard vesting, continued service, confidentiality, and invention-assignment requirements.
No salary is available until the company achieves sufficient revenue or financing. The precise equity, vesting, role, Board participation, and compensation arrangements will be agreed through formal founder documentation before commencement.
Why join now
The market is crowded with tools that send more messages. We believe the larger opportunity is to build an intelligent customer-acquisition system that understands markets, identifies opportunities, coordinates execution, and learns from commercial outcomes.
The product foundation and early market work are underway. The next critical requirement is a founder who can create urgency, win trust, and turn that foundation into revenue.
