For our client, we are seeking a Chief Financial Officer to join the team of a leader in the Retail & Consumer Goods space. This role will strengthen forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning processes that guide business decisions. You will partner with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to improve planning processes, financial discipline, controls, and resource allocation. The position offers the opportunity to influence enterprise performance and scalable financial operations within a consumer-facing environment.
Location: San Francisco, CA - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $200,000 – $250,000 annually
Responsibilities
- Lead all Finance and Accounting functions with a focus on accuracy and compliance
- Partner with the CEO to develop and align company strategy
- Build scalable financial systems to support global growth
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning
- Develop financial metrics for performance management
- Lead investor relations and communicate with the Board
- Evaluate new opportunities and global expansion with cross-functional leaders
Qualifications
- 15+ years of leadership experience in Finance within consumer goods, retail orSimilar industries
- Proven CFO experience in fast-scaling, global, and multi-channel businesses
- Expertise in financial planning, forecasting, capital allocation, and performance management
- MBA and/or CPA preferred
- Experience in investor relations and Board communication
- Business development or M&A experience preferred
- Excellent communication, leadership, and influence skills
