A great UHY client is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to serve as a key member of the executive leadership team within a growing organization. This role will provide both strategic and operational leadership across all financial functions while driving performance, supporting growth initiatives, and ensuring financial integrity across the organization.
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) role is an onsite position. This is a permanent opportunity offering executive-level visibility, direct partnership with the CEO and Board of Directors, and the ability to lead a high-impact finance organization
Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Responsibilities
- Partner with the CEO and executive leadership team to develop and execute the company’s strategic plan
- Provide financial leadership for growth initiatives, market expansion, pricing strategies, and operational improvements
- Present financial results, forecasts, and strategic recommendations to the Board of Directors
- Lead and oversee all financial functions, including accounting, FP&A, and treasury
- Optimize working capital, cash flow, and overall financial performance
- Drive improvements in business intelligence, reporting, and data-driven decision-making
- Oversee and support a complex, multi-location financial and inventory environment
- Lead the implementation of a new ERP system (Acumatica) targeted for 2027
- Develop and maintain strong internal controls and ensure financial compliance
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing finance team
Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Requirements
- Proven experience as a CFO or senior finance leader within distribution, aftermarket, or industrial sectors
- Experience managing complex inventory environments and multi-location (B2B) operations
- Strong leadership presence with experience partnering with executive teams and Boards
- Demonstrated ability to drive strategic initiatives and operational improvements
- Experience leading ERP implementations preferred
- Strong financial acumen with expertise in FP&A, accounting, and treasury functions
- Ability to foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
