About the Role
We’re looking for a highly organised, proactive and commercially minded Sales Operations Administrator to work closely with our sales team.
This isn’t a traditional sales administration role. You’ll be at the heart of our sales activity, helping our senior team stay organised, prepared and focused on customers while making sure opportunities, enquiries and actions are followed through quickly and professionally.
You’ll be someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, takes ownership and isn’t afraid to chase actions, speak with customers and colleagues, and keep things moving.
What You’ll Be Doing
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing diaries and coordinating customer meetings, site visits, reviews and internal meetings
- Preparing information ahead of customer meetings, including presentations, pricing information, customer data and briefing notes
- Following up actions and commitments to make sure deadlines are met
- Monitoring incoming sales enquiries and ensuring they are responded to and progressed quickly
- Supporting the sales team with customer correspondence, proposals, presentations and updates
- Keeping our CRM accurate and up to date with customer information, opportunities, meeting notes and actions
- Producing sales reports, dashboards and information to help the leadership team understand pipeline and activity
- Helping create visibility around opportunities and outstanding actions across the business
- Working with different departments to make sure customer requests and sales opportunities don't get stuck or overlooked
- Supporting the wider sales team in maintaining a fast, responsive and customer-focused approach
About You
Previous experience working within a sales or sales administration environment is essential for this role. You’ll understand how a busy sales function operates and the importance of responsiveness, accurate information, strong organisation and consistent follow-up.
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Highly organised – you can manage multiple priorities and deadlines without losing attention to detail
- Proactive – you spot what needs doing and get on with it rather than waiting to be asked
- A strong communicator – confident communicating professionally with customers, suppliers, colleagues and senior management
- Commercially aware – you understand the importance of great service, quick responses and consistent follow-up
- Confident – comfortable working closely with senior directors and chasing people for actions when needed
- Driven and energetic – you like getting things done and keeping things moving
- Detail focused – you take pride in producing accurate, professional work
- Resilient – comfortable working in a busy environment where priorities can change quickly
Experience in a Sales Administrator, Sales Coordinator, Sales Support, Sales Operations or similar commercially focused role would be particularly relevant.
Experience using CRM systems, Microsoft Office and particularly Excel and PowerPoint would also be advantageous.
What Success Looks Like
You’ll play an important role in making our sales leadership team more effective.
Meetings will be well prepared, customer enquiries will receive prompt responses, actions will be followed through and our sales team will have accurate information at their fingertips.
Most importantly, you’ll help make sure that nothing falls through the cracks.
Why Join Us?
You’ll work directly with senior leaders, gain exposure to customers and commercial decision-making, and become an important part of a growing and ambitious sales operation.
If you have experience supporting a sales team and you’re organised, confident, commercially minded and the sort of person who naturally takes ownership and gets things done, we’d love to hear from you.
