At Locmans Advisors, we're looking for an experienced Fractional CFO to partner with ambitious business owners and leadership teams, helping them make better decisions, build stronger businesses and create meaningful financial outcomes. You’ll work with a portfolio of privately-owned, growth-focused businesses, typically between $10m and $100m turnover, acting as the Finance Seat within their leadership team and helping turn strategy into execution.
You’ll be supported by an established team of experienced CFO peers. We provide the clients, the tools and the methodology, so you can focus on delivering real impact.
This isn’t an internal finance role.

The package
- $180,000 base + super + commissions (Total Package $220k+)
- 100% work from home, Sydney based

What you'll be doing
As a Fractional CFO, you'll:
Become a trusted advisor.
- Sit on leadership teams and participate in key decision making
- Facilitate honest conversations around business performance
- Challenge assumptions and bring commercial clarity
- Build strong relationships with owners, CEOs, GMs and leadership teams
Improve business performance
- Lift profitability and margins
- Improve cash flow and working capital
- Evaluate growth opportunities and investments
- Help businesses secure and deploy capital effectively
- Create practical financial roadmaps aligned to business goals
Build capability
- Coach and mentor finance teams
- Develop future finance leaders
- Improve structures, accountability and workflows
- Help businesses create scalable finance functions
Drive implementation.
- Lead strategic projects
- Improve systems, reporting, and visibility
- Support acquisitions, restructures and growth initiatives
- Ensure recommendations become outcomes.

What you'll bring
You’ll likely have experience in a public practice setting, working fractionally as a:
- CFO
- Finance Director
- Head of Finance
- Senior Finance Manager
- Commercial Finance leader
You'll also bring:
- Strong commercial acumen
- Experience working with privately-owned businesses
- Proven success improving profitability and cash flow
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience coaching and developing finance professionals
- Confidence presenting to leadership teams and Boards
- A passion for helping businesses grow and improve
EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) experience highly regarded.
