An exceptional opportunity for a commercially minded CFO to join an established international Asset Management Business of around 200 people based in Bank, at an exciting stage of its growth.
Working closely with the CEO and senior leadership team, you’ll help shape financial strategy, influence commercial decisions and play a key role in the company’s next phase of expansion.
This is not a conventional corporate CFO position. It’s an opportunity for someone entrepreneurial and commercially driven who wants to combine financial leadership with transactions, acquisitions, funding and strategic growth.
The role
- Lead financial strategy, planning, forecasting and performance management.
- Work closely with the CEO to drive profitability, growth and commercial performance.
- Evaluate and execute strategic transactions, including acquisitions, valuations, due diligence and deal structuring.
- Support funding initiatives, capital allocation and international expansion.
- Strengthen financial systems, reporting and controls as the business grows.
- Provide financial insight to support investment decisions and long-term business strategy.
The person
We’re looking for a qualified finance professional with strong commercial instincts and the ability to operate in an entrepreneurial, growing business.
- ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualification.
- Essential: experience in financial services.
- Essential: hands-on transaction, acquisition and/or funding experience.
- Experience working within an SME, scale-up or entrepreneurial environment.
- A track record of supporting growth, improving performance and influencing strategic decisions.
- The confidence to work closely with the CEO and senior leadership team.
A Big Four background followed by experience in financial services, investment management or asset management could be particularly relevant.
Previous CFO experience is not essential. We’re more interested in your commercial judgement, transaction experience and ability to make a tangible impact than your current job title.
