Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to optimize and streamline the processes that support our sales team, while collaborating with various departments to improve workflows and drive revenue growth. In this role, you'll oversee and support 10-12 Sales Executives (SDRs) across NY, PA, DE, and MA, reporting directly to the VP of Sales. The ideal candidate will have a strong operations background with excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills, along with a proactive, “hunter mentality”—always looking for ways to improve. This position involves extensive travel and is based in the New York City metro area.
Responsibilities:
- Take full ownership of the planning, coordinating, and managing operational logistics for Apos events and more, supporting the SDR team in their mission.
- Attend key events across NY, PA, DE, and MA to ensure operations run smoothly, providing remote and on-site support.
- Collaborate closely with logistics and clinical teams, to ensure events and daily operational tasks align with business goals.
- Support Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) across multiple regions, ensuring processes and logistical plans are consistently followed.
- Handle a significant volume of phone-based communication, responding to inquiries, coordinating logistics, and troubleshooting issues in real-time.
- Drive operational excellence and efficiency across sales teams.
- Optimize sales processes and implement best practices.
- Conduct training sessions on technology, sales playbooks, and other relevant topics.
- Travel extensively to NY, MA, PA, DE for sales events, meetings, and training sessions.
- Manage day-to-day operations, ensuring alignment with sales strategies and goals.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree (preferred)
- At least 6 years of experience in operations, with a strong sales and operations mentality
- Healthcare experience preferred but not a must
- Ability to multitask and handle multiple priorities in a dynamic, high-demand environment
- Excellent communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail
- Successful track record driving results on a team at a rapidly scaling company
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work in a multicultural environment
- Ability to work in an intense environment, with a "hunter" mentality and drive for results
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Willingness to travel extensively (up to 75%) and work flexible hours as needed
- Work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings
