We are looking for a hands-on and motivated self-starter who is passionate about using and analyzing data, market insights/trends, business performance, and business/functional feedback to deep dive and 1/Develop short, medium, and long-term go-to-market/GTM strategy and execution plans, 2/Develop actionable insights that can drive the strategy, 3/Conceptualize and drive execution of cross-functional, Think Big, and Innovative strategic programs, 4/Drive operational improvements across customer segments/verticals and functions, and 5/Influence leadership decision-making on business-critical topics.
An ideal candidate would have strong strategy, analytical, project and program management, communication, and long-form writing skills, ability to work cross functionally, and translate business needs into initiatives. The candidate will be high on Learning intensity and Be Curious about exploring new possibilities while questioning the Status Quo, be vocally self-critical, and always Insist on the Highest Standards. About The Role
- Analyze complex business problems and be responsible for business requirements and proposed solutions being documented to the highest standard
- Be focused on the here and now of the business, proactively analyze, take ownership, and drive improvement of program/project management and operational processes across customer segments and functions for better efficiencies and output
- Use own initiative to think long term, develop multi-year strategy, and conceptualize strategic programs and initiatives aligned to the business vision and priorities. Proactively identify solutions to meet business objectives, considering the implications of change on the organization and all stakeholders
- Work with project teams and ensure that all agreed strategic projects are progressing and delivering desired results on time and in budget, including: process, efficiency and productivity improvements, AWSIPL technical functionalities & capabilities, user experience, workflow improvements, and similar
- Through effective project management, support the development of tools and process to deliver a superior customer experience.
- Perform daily functions of the Strategy and Project Management Office, such as program scheduling and planning, monitoring and status reporting against planned deliverables, benefits and milestones, resource and program tracking, development and management of risk, issue and action logs
- Build business cases and review documents via high quality long-form written narratives and secure buy-in of senior leaders and stakeholders
- Build and maintain successful partnerships with various cross-functional and cross-geography teams of Amazon, across strategy, operations, program management, functions and segments, project managers, finance, legal, tax and other relevant stakeholders
- At all times, drive to the desired end state and ensure that the voice of the customer is reflected in everything that we do

Basic Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in Sales Strategy, Programs, and Operations Management or similar role in a corporate environment
- BS/BA degree in Business Administration, Math, Engineering, or a related field, and MBA or other relevant advanced degree
- Proven success in creatively solving problems, conceptualizing programs, driving strategy, project and program management, and refining processes and procedures
- Experience using CRM and financial/accounting software (Salesforce.com preferred)
- Strong MS Excel and PowerPoint skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in Strategy, Operations, and Program Management within a high-growth or MNC or Consulting company is a plus
- Strong and assertive written and verbal communication skills
- Motivated self-starter, high on team work and collaboration, proactive, and detail-oriented
- Willingness to roll up your sleeves and do what's necessary
- Genuine enthusiasm for technology, cloud computing, and Amazon
