This role involves implementing Salesforce solutions, providing administrative support and business requirement analysis to ensure that the Salesforce platform meets the needs of the sales team.
Expertise in Salesforce to optimize the sales processes leveraging salesforce functionalities and providing technical solutions to drive sales efficiency and effectiveness. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales operations, advanced Salesforce proficiency, and the ability to analyse complex data sets to inform strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities:
- Salesforce Development:
- Develop customer Salesforce applications using various salesforce technologies
- Design and implement integrations between Salesforce and other systems using APIs and third party applications as required.
- Create and maintain workflow rules, process builders, flows and other automation tools
- Conduct thorough testing of new features and customizations. Manage deployments and version controls using tools
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of customizations and development work
Salesforce Administration:
- Oversee daily operations of the Salesforce platform, ensuring data integrity and security.
- Manage user set up, profiles, roles, permissions to maintain data security and compliance.
- Maintain and customize Salesforce objects, fields, page layouts, workflows, process builder, validation rules, and other functionalities to align with the business requirements
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and implement customizations to meet business needs.
Data Management and Analysis:
- Conduct timely data quality audits and implement data cleansing initiatives to ensure accuracy and completeness of sales data.
- Develop and maintain sales performance dashboards, reports, and metrics to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Utilize Salesforce reporting to extract, analyse, and visualize sales data.
Sales Process Optimization:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline sales processes within Salesforce.
- Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements, leveraging Salesforce automation tools such as workflows, process builder.
Integration and System Enhancements:
- Collaborate with IT and third-party vendors to implement system enhancements, upgrades, and integrations.
- Stay informed about Salesforce platform updates, new features, and best practices to maximize the value of our Salesforce investment.
Training and Support:
- Manage user queries regarding Salesforce usage.
- Provide training and support to sales teams on Salesforce usage, best practices, and new features.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and point of contact for Salesforce-related inquiries and support tickets.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in technical Salesforce role
- Salesforce certification required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Experience with Salesforce integrations, data migration, and system enhancements is a plus.
- MBA from a premiere B school preferred
