THE ROLE
The Sales Operations Manager, Europe role reports into the Global Sales Operations Leader and is responsible for leading sales operations and supporting sales decision making in Europe.
The role is critical in driving adherence to internal sales process, methodology, and cadence; leading regional and sub-regional sales forecasting; monitoring, reporting and driving action from sales related KPIs; driving regional adoption of sales tool best practices; as well as supporting the region’s use of CRM and revenue operations platform.
This role directly partners with the Asia Pacific Managing Director, regional sales leaders, regional finance, and other regional and global functions.
OPPORTUNITIES
- You will be the trusted partner of the Europe Managing Director, using business acumen and data analytics to develop insights, recommend opportunities for growth, and lead the execution of such recommendations.
- You will lead and enforce the execution of the weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales organization cadence within the Europe region (Rhythm of the Business).
- You will use the revenue operations platform to deliver the monthly license and SaaS forecast with regional sales leadership.
- You will establish regional expectations and enable analytics, reporting and monitoring of key performance indicators for new and existing business sales activity, prospecting, and pipeline; track, report, and publish these KPIs to generate actionable insights for all sales members within the region.
- You will participate in the end-of-quarter deal and sequence-of-events close reviews.
- You may represent regional sales on global initiatives and projects.
- You will develop dashboards and reporting to be used in executive summaries to the President of Internationals and presentations to the Executive Committee.
- You will support the onboarding of new sales hires by teaching on sales related tools and processes.
- You will be a consultative, proactive business partner outside of sales. Liaise with global sales operations, regional finance, and regional pre-sales, marketing, product, IT, services, and support functions in executing the responsibilities listed above.
- You will provide leadership by partnering with the Sales Operations Analyst in the Europe region.
REQUIREMENTS
- You should have 10+ years of experience in a combination of sales operations and finance related field.
- You should have bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, or a related field.
- You should have a demonstrated ability to assess regional business trends and identify actionable insights for sales and operations leadership to improve or implement process excellence.
- You should have leadership ability to manage, mentor, and coach junior operations analysts.
- You should have experience leading in a strong sales culture in the software industry with license and SaaS business models; Banking industry experience preferred.
- You should have experience leading operational initiatives combined with problem solving, project management, and analytical experience.
- You should have the willingness and ability to lead through the service of various cross-functional groups.
- Excellent knowledge Microsoft Office and advanced Microsoft Excel skills are required.
- You should have clear communication and strong interpersonal skills (both written and verbal in English).
- You should have experience using Salesforce.com.
- Experience using Clari, or a similar revenue operations platform, is preferred.
