Job Summary:
The Deal Desk Manager will work in the Sales Excellence organization and will play a key role managing opportunities from beginning to end by leading a team of Sales Operation Specialists. You will ensure accurate pipeline reporting, provide excellent customer service and contract commercial deals for Array Technologies. You will manage and improve processes creating a continuous improvement environment. Contracting is a critical step in our quote-to-cash process, and we are looking forward to finding the right person who enjoys working cross-functionally to drive profitable revenue growth.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Analyze deals to ensure competitive pricing while meeting company objectives
- Work closely with Sales Management, Finance, Legal and Supply Chain teams to guide the deal approval process from quote to contract and lead pre-contract review meetings
- Present non-standard deal terms to Leadership for approval
- Be a liaison between departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination from a commercial perspective
- Actively manage opportunity pipeline of quotes by working with your Sales Operations direct reports
- Identify areas for process enhancements to streamline operations and improve turnaround times.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within the team
- Track and analyze key performance indictors (KPI’s) related to deal desk and sales operations activities
- Stay informed about industry developments, competitor activities and market dynamics to inform deal strategies

Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in the solar or renewable energy industry
- MBA degree
- Strong analytical skills with a solid understanding of financial modeling, revenue recognition, and pricing strategies
- Passion for creating organizational efficiencies, and understanding end-to-end processes
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, cross-functional environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
