Sales Operations Assistant to be based in Bengaluru, India.
The
Sales Ops Assistant will work closely with management to provide administrative support. They help managers to make the best use of their time by dealing with secretarial, administrative, and operational responsibilities. This role will be
based in Bangalore and the person we are looking for needs to have extensive knowledge of the organisation in which she/he works (to know who the key personnel are (external and internal) and understand the organisation’s aims and objectives). Therefore, discretion and confidentiality are essential attributes for a successful assistant.
What You Will Lead
- Coordinate and manage the sales team's activities to ensure efficient and effective sales operations.
- Assist in the development and execution of sales strategies, processes and goals to achieve company targets.
- Scheduling and record keeping of the sales forecast, leadership meetings updates, follow-ups, and helping sales team to update the SFDC, Clari, and other sales productivity tools.
- Find opportunities for expansion, tracking sales information and industry trends to provide useful insights.
- Assist the sales team with the validation of the customer PO, Quote, contract as per the company policies before closing the deals.
- Coordinate with other departments, such as Deal Desk, Sales ops, Marketing, Customer Success, and Professional services to ensure smooth communication and collaboration.
- Organising the company's internal events (QBR’s, Offsite, etc.), customer/partner promotion, and spearheading negotiations with the external vendors, contractors, etc. while working with company's vendor management and other teams for the smooth conduct of the events.
- Help and assist the marketing and sales teams with the planning of conferences, trade exhibits, and sales activities.
- Train and onboard new sales team members, providing them with necessary resources and guidance on the company sales productivity tools.
- Make sure that all sales efforts adhere to the company's policies, processes, and ethical standards.
- Continuously evaluate and improve sales processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or related field.
- Proven experience in a sales support or coordination role, preferably in software industry
- Strong multitasking and organisational skills with a remarkable attention to detail.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication, with the capacity to establish trust with both internal teams and clients.
- Competence with office productivity tools like Google Workspace (Google drive, Google Docs, Google Slides, Google sheets, Gmail and efficiency in building the pivot table, reports and dashboards, graphs, etc.)
- Knowledge of CRM software (SFDC and Clari) tools for sales automation and reporting dashboards.
- Capacity to flourish in a deadline-driven, high-speed work environment.
- Ability to adjust easily to shifting demands and priorities.
