Position OverviewCOBOLagency is seeking a strategic and driven Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) to lead its revenue-generation and market-expansion initiatives in India. The CRO will spearhead efforts to enhance COBOLagency’s position as a leader in legacy system modernization, integrating innovative strategies to meet the unique demands of the Indian market.
Key Responsibilities
Revenue Growth and Sales Leadership- Market Strategy: Develop and execute a tailored sales strategy for the Indian market, addressing regional nuances and leveraging COBOLagency’s unique strengths in legacy system modernization.
- Sales Leadership: Build and manage a high-performing sales team equipped to penetrate key sectors such as financial services, government agencies, and large enterprises.
- Revenue Optimization: Establish and monitor KPIs, ensuring consistent progress toward quarterly and annual revenue targets.
- Contract Negotiation: Drive revenue growth through strategic deal structuring and contract negotiations that maximize client value and profitability.
Business Development and Market Expansion- Client Acquisition: Build relationships with decision-makers in target industries, emphasizing COBOLagency’s expertise in modernizing mission-critical legacy systems.
- Partnership Development: Establish alliances with leading Indian technology firms, government entities, and system integrators to enhance service offerings and market reach.
- Regional Advocacy: Represent COBOLagency in India at industry forums, conferences, and client engagements to strengthen its reputation and market visibility.
Marketing and Brand Building- Localized Campaigns: Oversee marketing initiatives that align with India’s market dynamics, highlighting COBOLagency’s relevance and thought leadership.
- Market Research: Continuously assess and adapt to emerging trends, ensuring that marketing strategies remain competitive and impactful.

Customer Retention and Success- Client Relationships: Drive customer satisfaction and loyalty through robust service delivery, ongoing support, and proactive engagement.

Qualifications and SkillsProfessional Experience- 10+ years of leadership experience in revenue generation, sales, or business development, preferably in IT services or technology markets.
- Proven success in scaling revenue and leading market expansion initiatives within India.
- Deep knowledge of legacy systems, mainframe modernization, or enterprise IT solutions is an advantage.
Leadership and Strategic Skills- Strong analytical and decision-making capabilities, with the ability to develop and implement effective strategies.
