Role: Graduate Sales Development Representative
Compensation: £35,000 base salary, plus a 20% discretionary company bonus.
Location: 3 days on-site in London Victoria.
Benefits Package: Includes pension, private medical insurance, and death in service, as well as company bonus.
My client is seeking a Graduate Sales Development Representative to join their data-driven business EV Charging Business. Your main focus will be generating new business opportunities through cold calling and relationship building, identifying and engaging with potential customers to schedule meetings for our sales team.
What You’ll Do
- Creative Problem Solving: Apply your high levels of creativity and critical thinking skills to suggest innovative approaches to sales strategies and campaigns.
- Communication: Effectively communicate your findings and recommendations to team members through reports, presentations, and discussions.
- Mentorship and Learning: Engage in ongoing learning opportunities and seek mentorship from experienced professionals to further develop your skills and knowledge.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather and analyse data, ensuring that our strategies are well-informed and aligned with our objectives.
- Outbound Calling: Make outbound calls to prospective customers and prepare and deliver pitches to potential clients.
- Contextual Analysis: Utilise your well-rounded knowledge and research to provide insights to inform and develop our proposals.
- Support Sales: Help provide data and guides to assist the sales team in penetrating target markets.
- Data-Driven Strategy: Collaborate with our team to develop data-driven strategies that align with our organisational goals and mission.
- Marketing Assistance: Support marketing efforts across the sales team, for example, by attending marketing events.
- Sales Tools Management: Manage sales tracking tools and report on important information.
- Strategic Liaison: Work with account managers to develop specific sales strategies.
- Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with new product and feature launches, and demonstrate commercial awareness of industry trends.
- Customer Service: Review pending sales to ensure excellent customer service and a great customer experience.
About You
Knowledge and Skills:
- Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration and reporting.
- Knowledge of the EV Charging industry will be a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Experience:
- Ideally, you will hold an undergraduate degree, for example in business, science, geography, or comparable work experience.
