JOB DESCRIPTION
The Sales Operations Analyst will be responsible for sourcing, building, optimising, and analysing processes that drive revenue, support sales and marketing functions, and enable effective data-driven decision-making across the business. The role requires a strategic thinker with a data-driven mindset and a collaborative approach to work closely with Sales, Marketing, and other departments to optimise the entire revenue generation cycle, streamline operations, and ensure timely access to valuable insights.
RESPONSIBILITES
Phase 1 responsibilities:
1. Sales Pipeline Support
- Working with sales managers to profile new business within defined verticals by collating company and contact data to support targeted outbound sales campaigns.
- Upload leads from Zint and ZoomInfo into the CRM and assign to designated salesperson on a weekly basis •Develop insights on success against lists provided on a salesperson basis
- Act as a cross-functional collaborator across go-to-market teams to align objectives and optimise efforts.
- Extract and interpret insights from business data to optimise sales, marketing, and retention processes.
2. CRM & Processes
- Build, optimise, and analyse internal processes for generating revenue.
- Report on monthly revenue forecast & KPI reporting
- CRM systems for governance, data integrity, process optimisation, reporting.
- Utilise Inforex and existing client data for performance tracking and optimisation.
. Revenue reporting
- Work with finance to act as the conduit to gather and report sales performance against new and live clients
- Report on live client-by-client monthly performance and how they are tracking against forecast
- Provide client trends based on type, account manager, size, flows.
Phase 2 responsibilities:
Sales Operations:
1. Data Gathering and Analysis
- Profile new business opportunities by collecting market and prospect data to support targeted outbound sales campaigns.
- Develop insights on the existing client portfolio: client composition, revenue share, risk weighting, client lifecycle, and onboarding timelines.
- Act as a cross-functional collaborator across go-to-market teams to align objectives and optimise efforts.
- Extract and interpret insights from business data to optimise sales, marketing, and retention processes.
2. Revenue-Generating Processes
- Build, optimise, and analyse internal processes for generating revenue.
- Enhance CRM systems for governance, data integrity, process optimisation, reporting, and forecasting.
- Manage lead sourcing tools to support the sales pipeline.
- Utilise Inforex and existing client data for performance tracking and optimisation.
3. Cross-Functional Project Management
- Collaborate with sales and marketing functions to provide priority data for campaigns and strategic initiatives.
- Ensure cross-departmental alignment on data requirements and timely acquisition of information.
Marketing Operations:
1. Marketing Workflow Optimisation
- Build, optimise, and analyse marketing workflows, including paid campaigns, events, and inbound inquiry handling, to ensure efficient lead management.
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to design and implement strategies for capturing, nurturing, and converting leads via HubSpot, emphasising the development of an opted-in marketing database.
2. Data Collaboration and Prioritisation
- Work with the Marketing team on priority data requirements for ad-hoc campaigns, regulatory communications, or incident response communications.
- Provide insights on market trends and campaign performance to shape future marketing efforts.
3. Attribution Reporting
- Develop sophisticated attribution reports within HubSpot to deliver a comprehensive view of conversions by channel.
- Provide insights into customer journeys that include both marketing-driven interactions and conversions via other channels, such as outbound or partnerships.
COMPETENCIES & EXPERIENCE:
Experience
- 3-5 years in Sales Operations, Marketing Operations, or Revenue Operations roles within a B2B environment, ideally in the fintech or payments industry.
- Proficiency in CRM and marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and experience in managing data integrity and reporting processes.
Technical Skills
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis, forecasting, and building dashboards or reports (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Proficient in Excel, SQL, or similar tools for data analysis and process optimization.
- Knowledge of lead sourcing tools and techniques.

- Collaborative team player with strong communication and project management skills.
- Attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
