Chief Financial Officer (CFO) – Leadership Opportunity in a Growing Organization
Our client, a leading technology company, is currently looking for an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to provide strategic financial leadership and guidance to its expanding organization. The CFO will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, risk management, and financial strategy, ensuring the development and execution of effective financial and operational plans. This role is pivotal in driving the company’s success, optimizing financial performance, and ensuring the seamless implementation of strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Oversight
- Serve as a key decision-maker within the executive leadership team.
- Foster collaboration among departments to ensure strategic alignment.
- Oversee accounting, human resources, investor relations, legal, tax, and treasury functions.
- Manage financial operations for subsidiaries and international entities.
- Supervise outsourced financial and accounting services.
- Implement operational best practices across departments.
- Administer employee benefit plans with a focus on cost efficiency.
- Lead due diligence and negotiations for acquisitions.
Strategic Leadership
- Help shape the company’s long-term direction and tactical initiatives.
- Partner with the executive team to monitor and execute strategic business plans.
- Develop and implement financial and tax strategies to support business objectives.
- Lead capital planning, budgeting, and forecasting to align with company priorities.
- Establish performance metrics that support the company’s strategic goals.
Cash Management & Funding
- Oversee cash flow and financial forecasting.
- Manage debt and equity financing strategies.
- Maintain and strengthen banking relationships.
Financial Reporting
- Direct the preparation and presentation of financial reports to the executive team.
- Provide insights on financial performance and key metrics.
- Monitor financial and operational risks, implementing mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and oversee internal control systems for financial integrity.
- Manage corporate insurance coverage to protect company assets.

Qualifications & Experience
- Master’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 12+ years of financial leadership experience
- MBA in Finance preferred.
- CPA or CMA certification preferred
- Proven ability to partner with executive teams and oversee complex financial operations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts.
- Expertise in managing multiple revenue streams, including contracts, e-commerce sales, and international business. Experience with multi-family investments is a plus.
- NetSuite ERP a plus.
- Experience in a fast-growing startup environment is highly desirable.
