Summary:
Looking for an organized, motivated, hard-working, smart leader to head the
operations of a safety focused technology start-up company that is in launch mode. Reporting directly to the CEO, the role is focused on leading business and operational milestones and
supporting strategy. The Business Operations Head will be responsible
for overseeing daily operations, optimizing business processes, and
driving strategic execution. Working closely with the CEO and
leadership team, they will ensure operational efficiency, team
alignment, and financial stability while fostering a culture of innovation
and scalability.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Strategy & Execution:
• Develop and implement business strategies to achieve growth
• Establish scalable operational processes to support rapid growth.
• Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and track company
performance.
Team Leadership & Culture:
• Build and manage cross-functional teams to enhance productivity
and collaboration. Foster a results-driven, innovative, and
engaged company culture.
Financial & Business Growth Management:
• Collaborate with the CEO and CFO (or financial team) to manage
budgets and financial planning.
• Identify cost-saving and revenue-generating strategies.
Product & Technology Operations:
• Ensure seamless coordination between product, engineering, and
business teams.
• Drive the execution of product development roadmaps.
Identify operational bottlenecks and implement scalable solutions.
Risk Management & Compliance:
• Ensure company compliance with legal, security, and industry
regulations.
• Develop contingency plans to mitigate risks in operations.
• Insurance compliance and management
Qualifications & Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Technology, or a
related field (MBA preferred).
• Proven experience in a Business Operations leadership role,
preferably in a startup or technology company.
• Demonstrated ability to scale operations, manage teams, and
drive strategic initiatives. Ability to simplify and set up efficient
and effective processes and protocols.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with fundraising, investor relations, or financial
planning is a plus.
Experience at a start-up and ability to work in fast-paced
environment will critical focus on stakeholder requirements.
Salary Range: $70,000 + performance bonus with opportunity for
advancement and equity after 6-12 months
