JOB SUMMARY:
The Chief Financial Officer (C.F.O) will be responsible for the fiscal functions of CES in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Hands-on to plan, develop, organize, implement, direct and evaluate the organization's fiscal function and performance.

Participate in the organization's plans and programs as a strategic partner.

Evaluate and advise on the impact of long range planning, introduction of new programs/strategies and regulatory action.

Leadership presence among all employees.
-
Strategic financial input and leadership on decision making issues affecting the organization.
-
Continual improvements of the budget through education of department managers on financial issues impacting department budgets.
-
Review of financial statements, financial information of customers, subcontractors, vendors, and other businesses with which the company conducts business.

Enhance cash position by monitoring A/P, A/R and collections. Work directly with staff to collect all past due receivables and retainage as soon as contractually allowed.

Establishment of tax policies, tax planning, and oversight of preparation of all corporate tax filings.

Provide mentorship to Accounting Manager and other staff to assure successful individual development in support of business's long-term goals.

Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Education:
-
MBA or Bachelor's degree in accounting or other business related discipline.

CPA preferred.
-
Chief Financial Officer level record of performance.
-
10+ years of financial management experience with the day-to-day financial operations of an organization. construction Industry preferred.

Superior verbal and written skills. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills required.
