Role: Manager, Key accounts + sales operations

AKA Hotels + Hotel Residences is recruiting a Manager of Key Accounts and Sales Operations. This individual will lead efforts in representing the Residence portfolio to the corporate housing and relocation community. Additionally, this individual will assist the VP of Sales on reporting, training and initiatives across entire hotel and residence portfolio. The Manager of Key Accounts and Sales Operations is collaborative, highly organized, results-oriented, and team focused.
Team Member Responsibilities:
• Represent AKA Hotels + Hotel Residences by partnering with Relocation Management Companies and Corporate Housing Providers - securing 30-night (and plus) reservations, offering best possible service
• Quickly respond to reservation requests via the approved platforms as well as quick replies to client requests, conversion of bookings, and strong internal relationships with the property teams
• Utilize company CRM on a daily basis, to track pipeline and activities
• Onboard new properties to third party relocation platforms, as required, with new openings and audit current platforms for best verbiage and photography
• Partner with Manager, Sales Operations + Key Accounts and property DOS team to ensure monthly rates are favorable for both the clients and the properties, suggesting changes and updates based on volume and season
• Intimate with suite inventory at over 10 AKA Residence properties
• Manage extensions of residents staying in our properties, and partner with operations team on post stay to include accurate and timely billing
• Monitor lead volume daily, and follow up with pipeline weekly providing updates to Manager, Sales Operations + Key Accounts
• Conduct on-site property tours, expert in all suite types, qualify each potential resident and close sale when required
• Assist NYC Residence team on an as-needed basis for sales support
• Attend and participate in all required team and client meetings
• Assist Manager, Sales Operations + Key Accounts with company-wide reporting on request
• Assist with company CRM data management as directed by Manager, Sales Operations + Key Accounts
Desired Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university
- Minimum of (5) years in a hotel environment, sales, or revenue, one year in management preferred
- Experience with Amadeus Delphi/ASEM, Opera and other Sales CRM systems
- Ability to be flexible with work location in NYC, tend and participate in all required team and client meetings
- Ability to travel on request for property support and networking opportunities
