The GTM Strategy & Operations Associate will join a global team driving Datadog’s next phase of growth. We’re interdisciplinary thinkers leveraging diverse business backgrounds in management consulting, investment banking, business development, and tech to accelerate Datadog’s global growth. We work directly with Datadog’s most senior leaders to set corporate strategy, improve efficiency across the business, support data-driven decision-making, own complex operations, and more.
As a GTM Strategy & Operations Associate at Datadog, you will play a pivotal role in driving our GTM team's success globally. This role offers the chance to make an immediate and significant impact. You will work closely with senior leaders to be their strategic partner, spearheading long-term strategic projects, overseeing critical operations, and identifying opportunities for improvement. What you’ll do:
- GTM analysis and reporting: Analyze sales and GTM data to identify trends, understand efficiency by channel, and collaborate with leaders to adjust strategies as needed.
- Data visualization: Build dashboards to deliver actionable insights
- Strategic partnership with GTM leaders: Support sales and other GTM leaders by shaping their future vision, prioritizing their objectives, and executing on top objectives.
- Strategic roadmap development: Contribute to long-term strategy by identifying growth opportunities and optimizing approaches in conjunction with sales/growth targets.
- Support for GTM & Strategy team initiatives: Assist in high-priority projects and initiatives within the broader GTM & Strategy team
Who You Are:
- Experience: 2-4 years in GTM/growth/revenue strategy, management consulting, investment banking/equity research, or a similar role as a business analyst
- Quantitative analysis: Proficient in performing accurate calculations and analyses with a strong attention to detail
- Strategic thinking: Independent capability to dissect complex issues into fundamental elements and outline clear next steps
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; capable of synthesizing complex concepts and providing regular updates to senior stakeholders
- Ownership: Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and take direct responsibility for outcomes in collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Strategy, and Product teams
- Organizational skills: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, each with unique challenges and stakeholders
- Presentation skills: Ability to create presentations for senior and executive level audiences
- Creative problem solving: Comfort with ambiguity and ability to structure nebulous problems
Bonus Points:
- Experience working in Tableau or other similar data visualization tools
- Experience manipulating and analyzing complex datasets using SQL and/or Python
