We are seeking a sales operations analyst for our sales operations team in North America. Our tasks and responsibilities are varied and dynamic with the goal of being a force multiplier for high-priority initiatives impacting the entire sales organization. This person will be intellectually challenged on a continual basis and will be utilizing their business acumen, analytical skills and process abilities in a complicated global corporate ecosystem. Ideally this position will be based near our Coppell, Texas or Columbia, Maryland office. You will work remote primarily, and will only be required to be in office for special events such as training or group meetings.
Your tasks
- Execute data analysis projects that will help us better understand business trends such as discounting practices, partner engagement, demo instrument utilization, sold product mix, success of new product introductions, quoting trends, changes in addressed markets and more
- Constantly look for ways to reduce friction in sales processes to drive efficiency and sales team engagement as follows, all within constraints of IT tools and global expectations
- Identify and prioritize barriers to success
- Design and execute analysis methodologies
- Investigate causes and identify areas for improvement
- Partner with key stakeholders in sales, marketing, operations, and finance for potential solutions
- Craft proposals, implement and/or consult on implementation of solutions
- Lead projects and initiatives focused on improving productivity and simplifying processes throughout the sales organization with a continuous improvement focus
- Conduct analysis and generate compelling reports and presentations to track and manage business KPIs
- Support the sales team by leveraging the CRM and other custom tools to analyze business processes
Your Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Operations or equivalent experience in Sales Operations or Sales Process Automation in the technology B2B spaceAdvanced Excel skills. This should include problem solving with macros and experience in writing macros, experience with pivot tables and slicers, statistical functions, and analysis of complex data setsIntermediate to advanced statistics knowledge and skillsExperience with process improvement; Lean methodology experience a plusExcellent prioritization and organization skills - able to work on many varied projects at once while making progress in allInquisitive nature and strong problem-solving skillsEnthusiastic, motivated and persistent with strong written and verbal communication skillsSome travel required, To be considered, candidates must be located in the US and have valid US work authorization.

The total compensation for this position is $63K-$115K. Total compensation includes base salary, variable pay (when applicable) plus benefits. The range is determined by the position, geographic location and level. Individual pay within the range is determined by several factors including location, education or training, relevant work history, sales incentive structure and job-related skills.
