Role reports to: Head – Corporate Strategy, India
Location: Mumbai
What you will do
Sales analytics and value unlock.
- Develop and implement sales analytics strategies that align with the company's overall goals and objectives.
- Identify new opportunities to unlock growth at a customer x market x channel level by analyzing internal performance against market / category.
- Unlock efficiencies in manpower planning, deployment, and productivity deployed in sales, professional, and marketing teams.
- Evaluate spend effectiveness across professional and sales teams – CIW and CD-BME.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competition practices to identify risks and opportunities to achieve overall sales and profitability targets.
Business partnering
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for growth and efficiency – execute & manage necessary actions to ensure value realization.
- Partner with IT and sales teams to develop and implement tools to facilitate and improve sales functions.
- Provide information and analysis related to area market to assist sales and marketing management team in constructing sales forecast and budgets.
- Provide recommendations to company leadership basis external market trends & sales analytics,
Governance
- Coordinate and lead the work with regional teams to execute the IBP process related to demand & performance review. Uphold India reporting to the region as the OKR champion.
- Build ongoing systems & tools to measure corporate performance against plan at a monthly level, analyze root-causes & define corrective actions
Capability development & team management
- Lead a team of sales analysts to ensure accurate and timely reporting of sales data.
- Provide guidance and coaching to team on key competencies to improve performance.
- Build deeper analytics capability in the organization – direct reports and teams, extended sales members
Qualifications
What we are looking for
Required Qualifications
- 10 - 15 years of experience in sales analytics or a related field.
- Master's degree / MBA in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- Structured approach to analysis, comfortable working with large data sets to create operational and strategic insights.
- Ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions to complex problems.
- Ability to connect and effectively collaborate across a diverse group of business and cross-functional stakeholders to drive execution.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel, Tableau (or similar BI tools).
- Business intelligence experience in a sales environment preferred.
- Previous experience in a sales / marketing environment (in the FMCG / Cons. health industry) preferred
