Zearch are assisting our client in the search for an experienced Sales Strategy & Operations Manager to lead strategic initiatives that enhance sales effectiveness and operational efficiency. This role is responsible for shaping sales strategies, streamlining key processes, and ensuring that the sales team operates at peak performance to drive revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with sales leadership and cross-functional teams to develop market strategies, resource allocation plans, and performance metrics.
- Oversee key sales processes, including territory management, quota setting, and goal alignment.
- Lead the annual planning cycle, working closely with teams in go-to-market strategy, finance, and product development.
- Implement initiatives designed to improve sales team efficiency, optimize workflows, and enhance productivity.
- Manage sales operations cadence, including pipeline reviews, forecasting, and business performance assessments.
- Deliver actionable insights through performance tracking and data-driven analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Identify operational bottlenecks, recommend solutions, and drive initiatives that remove barriers to success.
- Lead cross-functional projects by developing detailed project roadmaps and ensuring alignment across departments.
- Oversee the deployment of sales tools and technology, collaborating with internal teams to enhance system capabilities.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in sales operations, strategy, or a related field such as management consulting, investment banking, private equity, or business analytics.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex business challenges and develop structured solutions.
- Proven ability to assess and optimize commercial, operational, and organizational processes.
- Expertise in handling large datasets, with proficiency in SQL, Excel, and business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau).
- A track record of supporting high-performing teams, driving collaboration, and mentoring talent.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to present insights and recommendations to executive stakeholders.
