Sales Operations Manager

OVERVIEW:
The Sales Operations Manager plays a critical role within Revision’s sales leadership team (RSLT). This position focuses on overseeing and optimizing the sales process to ensure the team operates efficiently and effectively. He/she will act as a bridge between different departments (Marketing, Customer Service, Finance, Supply Chain), facilitating communication and streamlining processes to support the sales team’s performance and success.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS:
- Serve as the central point of contact for all field-facing communications, ensuring clarity and consistency.
- Coordinate messaging between internal teams, marketing, and sales functions to ensure alignment with company objectives.
- Lead and oversee priority projects for the Sales Leadership team, ensuring timely execution and alignment with business goals.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather insights, define project scope, and set measurable objectives.
- Drive cross-functional initiatives, ensuring effective coordination between sales, marketing, operations, and other key departments.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement solutions to maintain momentum and achieve desired outcomes.
- Develop, standardize, and optimize sales processes to improve efficiency and predictability. This includes managing the sales pipeline and workflow, ensuring that all sales activities align with the strategic goals.
- Work with RSLT team to identify business opportunities and develop related SOP and SOP execution plan rollout
- Analyze sales data to gain insights into performance trends and areas for improvement. Generate actionable reports that inform strategic decisions and help in setting realistic sales targets and quotas.
- Track key sales metrics (e.g., new accounts, sku penetration, # of accounts that have not reordered in 6 months)
- Oversee the maintenance and optimization of the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system. Ensure data integrity, implement CRM best practices, and train sales staff on effective CRM utilization.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts by analyzing historical sales data and market trends. Collaborate with sales leaders to plan and allocate resources effectively.
- Work closely with Marketing (ie, align sales strategies with promotional campaigns), Customer Service (ie., enhance the physician experience), Finance, and Supply Chain (ie., forecast demand based on sales trends and physician purchasing behavior, manage backorders) teams to align sales strategies with company objectives.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement strategies to improve sales efficiency. Use metrics to identify bottlenecks and areas where the sales process can be streamlined.
- Monitor team performance and recommend improvements to sales strategies.
- Partner with Sales Training and Development in supporting the onboarding process for new sales hires, ensuring they have the tools and knowledge needed for success.
- Assist in the development of and manage sales compensation plans and incentive programs to motivate the sales team. Ensure these programs align with the company's financial goals and drive the desired sales behaviors.
- Assist with Quota setting process.
- Work with sales leadership to defining and optimizing sales territories.
- Evaluate and implement sales tools and technologies that improve sales productivity and efficiency. Stay updated with the latest tools and technologies that can benefit the sales team.
- Partner with the Finance department in identifying and maintaining the Car Allowance and Maintenance Program
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong capability to analyze complex sales data, identify patterns, generate insights, and make data-driven decisions.
- Knowledge of and proficiency in managing and optimizing Salesforce and SAP systems, ensuring data integrity and effective sales tracking.
- Ability to plan, execute, and oversee projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. This includes managing multiple projects and prioritizing tasks.
- Deep understanding of the sales process, from lead generation to closing deals. Familiarity with different sales methodologies and strategies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and presenting data-driven insights to stakeholders.
- Capable of leading, training, and motivating the sales team.
- Familiarity with various sales tools and software.
- Strong problem-solving skills to quickly identify issues within the sales process and develop effective solutions.
- Keen attention to detail to ensure data accuracy and process efficiency.
- Ability to influence in a matrixed environment
- Minimum of 2 years Aesthetics Industry experience
- Minimum of 2 years prior Sales Operations or Sales Enablement experience
- Bachelors degree preferred, with a focus in Business or Life Sciences
- Ability to travel 20% of the time.
