What you’ll do
- Identify, assess, and secure investment opportunities to support company growth, mergers, and acquisitions.
- Build relationships with venture capitalists, private equity firms, banks, and other financial institutions to secure funding and investment.
- Analyze market trends and investment opportunities to ensure the company is positioned for long-term financial success.
- Negotiate terms and structure funding agreements that align with the company’s objectives.
- Lead the finance department and provide strategic financial leadership to the organization.
- Collaborate with the executive team to define financial goals and develop strategies for achieving them.
- Oversee the development and implementation of financial plans, forecasting, and budgeting processes.
- Oversee the preparation and presentation of financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Lead the preparation and analysis of financial performance reports, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Provide financial insight and recommendations to senior management on key decisions affecting the company’s financial health.
- Oversee the company’s treasury functions, including cash management, banking relationships, and capital structure optimization.
- Develop and maintain policies for managing cash flow, liquidity, and short-term financing.
- Maintain relationships with current investors, stakeholders, and potential partners.
- Ensure clear and transparent communication with investors regarding financial performance and strategy.
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- Meticulous attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong understanding of financial planning, analysis, reporting, and compliance.
- Expertise in managing risk and ensuring financial controls.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Ability to think strategically and act as a trusted business advisor
- Strong knowledge of corporate finance, capital markets, and investment strategies.
- Ability to influence and communicate effectively with senior executives and external stakeholders.
- Able to communicate in Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin-Speaking counterparts.
