A law firm in Connecticut seeks a Chief Financial Officer to direct all accounting operations and who will build, mentor, and develop the team in a collaborative work environment. Responsibilities will include:

Overseeing firm-wide treasury functions and managing the firm’s external audit, and tax return preparations.
Ensuring the firm’s financial systems are secure, maintained, and enhanced as needed.
Developing and managing the preparation of financial analyses and reports on profitability.
The Chief Financial Officer will report to the Management Committee and manage several direct reports.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree (CPA preferred) with a minimum of 10 years of finance experience in a law firm environment.
Proven track record of leading initiatives, managing projects, and implementing process improvements.
Strategic thinker with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple interests in a demanding environment.
Excellent management, communication, and organization skills as well as strong software proficiencies, including Aderant and PowerBI.
