Camino Search are partnering with a Private Equity backed SaaS firm based in the UK. The business now requires a commercial and operational CFO to bring structure, discipline, and financial maturity to the organisation.
This is a superb role for a hands‑on, detail‑oriented CFO who thrives in a scaling environment. You’ll play a pivotal part in professionalising the finance function, building the infrastructure needed to support rapid growth, and acting as a strategic partner to the CEO and PE investors.
You will take ownership of financial operations, reporting, forecasting, and KPI discipline while also contributing to broader commercial and strategic initiatives that drive value creation.
Pay Rate - £900 to £1200 per day DOE
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and professionalise the finance function, implementing best‑in‑class systems, controls, and reporting processes.
- Build a robust financial framework to support scaling operations, including monthly reporting, cashflow forecasting, budgeting, and board packs.
- Act as a strategic partner to the CEO and private equity stakeholders, supporting value‑creation initiatives and the long‑term growth plan.
- Implement data‑driven performance metrics, especially SaaS KPIs such as ARR, churn, CAC, LTV etc
- Strengthen financial governance, compliance, risk management, and internal controls.
- Manage and develop a small team while remaining willing to roll up your sleeves in a hands‑on, operational role.
About You
- Proven experience as CFO or FD in a PE‑backed or fast‑growth SaaS/tech business.
- Deep understanding of SaaS metrics and subscription‑based business models.
- Track record of professionalising finance functions and implementing scalable systems and processes.
- Highly analytical, commercially minded, and comfortable working with data to drive insight.
- Hands‑on and execution‑focused, with the ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels.
- Strong communication skills and credibility with boards, leadership teams, and investors.
