Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Chief Financial Officer located in the Greater Perth Area.
The Chief Financial Officer will lead the company’s financial strategy, planning, governance, and performance management. The role is responsible for overseeing financial operations, capital management, compliance obligations, and risk management frameworks across the business.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and executing financial strategy aligned with the company’s growth objectives
- Preparing and overseeing financial reports, budgets, forecasts, and cash flow management
- Ensuring compliance with all financial, taxation, and regulatory requirements, including evolving anti-money laundering and governance obligations
- Establishing and maintaining strong internal controls, risk management, and regulatory compliance systems
- Providing financial analysis and commercial insights to support strategic decision-making
- Managing banking, investor, auditor, and key stakeholder relationships
- Supporting acquisition analysis, portfolio performance optimisation, and capital structuring
- Providing executive-level leadership and contributing to overall corporate strategy
Qualifications
- Strong financial management and accounting expertise, including budgeting, forecasting, and regulatory compliance
- Demonstrated experience in corporate governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance frameworks
- Proficiency in financial analysis, reporting, and long-term strategic planning
- Leadership and team management experience, with excellent decision-making and problem-solving capabilities
- Strong understanding of investment management, property finance, and financial markets
- Experience navigating regulatory environments, ideally including AML/CTF and related compliance obligations
- Proficiency in financial systems and reporting software
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (MBA, CA or CPA qualification preferred)
- Proven track record in a senior financial leadership role, preferably within the real estate or property sector
