Our client is a leading Professional Services firm, recently onboarded as a PE portfolio company. Poised for exciting transformation and growth, there is now an excellent opportunity for an extremely senior business and finance professional to make a significant impact to the group as a whole, and with an eventual exit in mind.
Role
Directly partnering the CEO and reporting to the Board, you will manage the entirety of the Finance organization in this global role based in Singapore or Hong Kong. Leading a team, you are expected to add significant value to the organization, help design their ambitious plans for growth via a Finance lens (both organically and inorganically) and galvanize the respective leadership teams into action. Whilst the role is propulsion centric, you must continually have a keen eye on risks and controls, including the establishment of effective and efficient processes. An extremely high level of due diligence and post integration support is expected given there is a high level of M&A anticipated.
Requirements
You are a seasoned finance professional with deep cross-border and cross-cultural work experiences gained in complex, large scale global companies. Prior stints working in PE backed portfolio companies and direct experience leading professional services firms are pre-requisites for the role. You have successfully driven a transformation - business / finance / systems (including digital) etc. Leveraging off rock-solid finance foundation, you are extremely fluent in pendulating between providing strategic and high-level support - especially in M&A activities - as well as gleaning meaningful operational business insights. A strong and capable leader, you have a demonstrated track record of managing sizeable and scattered teams, including the buildout of relevant finance capabilities.
