The Opportunity
Responsibilities
As a
Business Operations Manager, you will support in
Data Centre operations across procurement, finance, and reporting. This role is critical to maintaining operational efficiency and compliance across a complex, high-value environment. You’ll be joining a diverse
APAC-wide team and contributing to a large-scale infrastructure project with global impact.
Your responsibilities include:
- Manage and process high-value purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial controls
- Guide suppliers through onboarding and assist with invoice submission
- Monitor invoice submissions and ensure timely, high-quality payments
- Liaise with accounts payable teams to facilitate payments for rent, utilities, and facilities management
- Communicate with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to resolve operational issues
- Identify process bottlenecks and propose improvements
- Ensure all activities meet compliance standards, especially for large financial transactions
- Participate in weekly team meetings and support onboarding of new team members
- Handle administrative tasks including documentation, reporting, and cross-regional operations support
Required Skills
- Proven experience in business operations, procurement, and financial administration
- Familiarity with Data Centre operations or construction environments
- Previous experience in large-scale organisations (Microsoft experience highly regarded)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage complex financial processes
- Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management across diverse teams
- Ability to work autonomously and navigate ambiguity in a fast-paced environment
- Comfort with hybrid work arrangements and cross-border collaboration
