About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Business Operations Manager to oversee and optimise operational processes, ensuring efficient day-to-day business performance in Australia. You will work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence, support strategic initiatives, and enhance business efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily business operations and ensure alignment with organisational goals
- Develop, implement, and improve operational processes, policies, and procedures
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify areas for improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic projects and initiatives
- Manage budgets, resources, and vendor relationships as required
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies
- Lead and mentor operational staff, providing guidance and support
- Prepare operational reports and presentations for senior management
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Operations, or a related field
- 3–5 years of experience in operations management, business administration, or related roles
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and business systems
Nice to Have
- Experience in process improvement or Lean/Six Sigma methodologies
- Familiarity with project management tools (Jira, Asana, Trello, MS Project)
- Experience in finance, HR, or technology operations
- MBA or postgraduate qualifications
