We’re seeking a strategic, experienced Chief Financial Officer to lead our accounting department, treasury operations and guide our financial future.
The Role
As Chief Financial Officer, you’ll be a key member of the leadership team, overseeing all aspects of accounting, reporting, and compliance. You’ll work closely with the executive team to provide financial insights that drive strategic decisions, while leading and developing a high-performing accounting organization.
What You’ll Do
- Lead all accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and tax compliance.
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP/IFRS.
- Establish, monitor, and strengthen internal controls, policies, and procedures.
- Partner with executive leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
- Oversee external audits, tax filings, and regulatory compliance.
- Drive process improvements and system implementations to increase efficiency and scalability.
- Recruit, mentor, and develop top accounting talent, building a culture of excellence and growth.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA required; MBA preferred).
- 12+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 5 years in senior leadership.
- Resort development and or mortgage loan accounting experience highly preferred.
- Strong technical knowledge of GAAP/IFRS, regulatory compliance and mortgage securitizations.
- Proven ability to lead large teams, foster collaboration, and influence at the executive level.
- A strategic thinker who can balance big-picture vision with detail-oriented execution.
- Change agent able to modernize and implement updated systems to scale the organization.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
