Job Title: Director of Sales and Revenue Operations – UK & Ireland
Role Overview
The Director of Sales and Revenue Operations for the UK & Ireland will act as the strategic right-hand partner to the SVP of Sales, responsible for driving the Revenue Operations (RevOps) and Sales Operations strategy across the SMB and Mid-Market payments business.
This is a newly streamlined and high-impact role focused 100% on optimising sales processes, tooling, data integrity, and funnel performance, ensuring the sales organisation is equipped to convert leads efficiently and deliver sustained revenue growth.
This role will be pivotal in establishing operational excellence, influencing cross-functional change, and embedding scalable RevOps practices to future-proof the UK & Ireland sales function.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Sales & Revenue Operations Leadership
• Define and execute the Sales and Revenue Operations strategy for the UK & Ireland, ensuring alignment with wider commercial growth plans and integration priorities.
• Serve as a trusted partner to the SVP Sales, advising on structure, process optimisation, and performance improvement across the sales funnel.
• Provide strong change management leadership through the acquisition and integration period.
Revenue Operations & Funnel Management
• Establish robust processes that maximise visibility, efficiency, and conversion across every stage of the funnel, from lead generation to live MID and trading customer.
• Drive accountability for funnel performance, supporting the business in achieving consistent conversion-to-revenue targets.
• Build and maintain forecasting and pipeline management processes that enable data-driven commercial decisions.
CRM, Tooling & Systems Enablement
• Lead the CRM and sales enablement tooling strategy, from selection and implementation to optimisation and adoption.
• Ensure systems are intuitive, integrated, and drive measurable efficiency across the sales cycle.
• Champion data integrity and workflow automation to support accurate reporting and stronger commercial execution.
Process & Workflow Optimisation
• Map, refine, and standardise end-to-end sales workflows to reduce friction and accelerate customer activation.
• Identify operational bottlenecks and implement scalable solutions that improve seller productivity and customer experience.
Data, Insights & Reporting
• Partner with Analytics and Finance to define key sales and revenue metrics.
• Deliver dashboards and reporting frameworks that enable leadership visibility into funnel health, sales velocity, and conversion performance.
Compliance & Risk Management
• Maintain oversight of all sales processes to ensure compliance with KYC, KYB, fraud prevention, and relevant regulatory standards.
• Partner with Risk, Compliance, and Onboarding teams to ensure operational alignment and governance.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Work in close partnership with Sales Leadership, Demand Generation, Marketing, Onboarding, and Operations to deliver a unified commercial engine.
• Act as a bridge between commercial, operational, and technical teams during the acquisition and integration phases.
Key Skills & Competencies
• Proven track record in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, or Commercial Excellence within a high-growth or complex environment.
• Deep understanding of CRM systems, sales process design, and funnel optimisation.
• Analytical, structured thinker who can convert insight into operational execution.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to drive cross-functional change.
• Experience in payments, financial services, or other regulated industries advantageous.
• High adaptability, commercial acumen, and leadership presence, able to bring clarity and momentum through transformation.
