Chief Financial Officer (Nonprofit)
Key Responsibilities
- Lead financial strategy, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, audits, and treasury operations
- Oversee accounting, payroll, compliance, and financial policies and procedures
- Partner with executive leadership and the Board on strategic planning, financial performance, and organizational growth
- Manage relationships with financial institutions, advisors, and investment committees
- Provide financial oversight for capital projects, real estate assets, and major organizational initiatives
- Support department leaders with budgeting, financial analysis, and operational decision-making
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory, tax, and reporting requirements

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field required; CPA, MBA, or advanced certification preferer
- 8–10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, including significant nonprofit accounting and reporting experience
- Prior CFO-level experience within a nonprofit organization required
- Strong background in budgeting, forecasting, grant/fund accounting, audits, and financial controls
- Experience with capital projects, construction, or real estate financing preferred
