The Project and Business Operations Analyst is a connector, problem solver and a conduit for moving ideas from concept to reality. The role connects the dots between projects, people and priorities, simplifying complexity and turning insights into action.

Taking a collaborative, adaptable, positive and solutions focused approach, the Project and Business Operations Analyst blends analytical thinking, creating problem solving and strong communication skills to remove barriers and design smarter and more efficient ways of getting things done.
The role bridges project support and business analysis, ensuring that project objectives align with business needs while contributing to the continuous improvement of operational processes and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct analysis of business operations, workflows and data to identify trends, gaps and opportunities for improvement.
- Participate in requirements gathering, process mapping and solution design for system or process enhancements.
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve productivity, service quality and performance.
- Support and advise on the preparation of project initiatives, business cases and project lifecycle activities.
- Map current state and assist in designing more efficient and effective future state workflows.
- Provide a range of project management and support services including preparation of reports and briefs, coordinating resources, maintaining project documentation and monitoring project plans.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation for reporting, monitoring and evaluation purposes to ensure accessibility of quality information
- Assist in developing user acceptance testing plans and scripts and monitoring progress and outcomes of testing.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of project governance, reporting framework and delivery templates.
Skills & Experience:
- A Diploma qualification in Information Technology, Business, Project Management or related discipline (desirable)
- Experience in project coordination, business analysis or operations support roles
- Demonstrated experience in coordination and execution of work plans including scheduling and tracking of tasks and projects
- Experience in producing high quality documentation including reports, briefs, work instructions and presentations
- Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise workloads
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight timelines
- Experience working with cross functional teams and multiple stakeholders
- The ability to explain technical concepts and technologies to non-technical leaders and conversely business concepts to the IT workforce.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills that promote collaboration and consensus.
- Strong analytical ability to interpret quantitative and qualitative data to identify issues and recommend evidence-based solutions.
