About the Role
SPI Diners, a fast-growing restaurant group, and SNS Movie Production, an established film production and distribution company, are jointly seeking a dynamic and enterprising Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our finance, accounting, and strategic planning functions. This is a unique opportunity to work across two exciting sectors — F&B and entertainment — each with its own energy, creativity, and growth potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the overall financial management, planning, systems, and controls for both SPI Diners and SNS Movie Production.
- Manage and mentor the finance and accounts team, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting.
- Drive budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management across business verticals.
- Handle banking relationships — including negotiations with banks for better interest rates, funding structures, and credit lines.
- Provide financial and strategic guidance to management for long-term business decisions.
- Ensure statutory compliance and oversee audits, tax planning, and financial governance.
- Support business expansion, new projects, and investments through strong financial planning and due diligence.
Candidate Profile
- Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent qualification preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in finance leadership roles — exposure to F&B, hospitality, or retail industries is a strong advantage.
- Proven track record of working with and negotiating with banks.
- Strong understanding of accounting systems, controls, and MIS.
- Excellent leadership skills — able to mentor and guide the finance team effectively.
- Chennai-based candidate only.
- Smart, enterprising, and hands-on in approach with a strong sense of ownership.
